Sherry Xu is a Partner at Fangda Partners in Shanghai, specializing in cross-border M&A, foreign direct investment, and corporate matters. She holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, an LL.B. from East China University of Political Science and Law, and an MBA from CEIBS (HEMBA, 2022–). Admitted in China and New York, Sherry previously spent seven years at Freshfields.

She has extensive experience advising Chinese companies on outbound investments, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. Her representative work includes acquisitions of U.S. and European healthcare companies, complex multi-jurisdictional asset carve-outs, FDI filings, and joint venture formations across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
