Kaijie He, Ph.D, is responsible for the scientific research and drug discovery work of Innovent Guoqing Academy. Dr. He holds a Ph.D. in Cancer biology from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Peking University. Since joining Innovent Biologics in 2019, he has been responsible for the scientific research and drug discovery work of Innovent Guoqing Academy, leading the team to discover multiple global first-in-class molecules which have now entered different stages of clinical trials.

Dr. Kaijie He has more than 15 years of research and drug discovery experience in the fields of tumor biology and tumor immunology. He has published dozens of patents and papers, including as corresponding author in Nature Cancer, Cell Reports Medicine and other top academic journals. While working at Hengrui Medicine, he established the Target Research Department and served as its director.
