Celine Bouquet is a seasoned business development leader with over 15 years of experience driving partnerships, licensing, and M&A in neuroscience, ophthalmology, and rare diseases. As Head of Neuroscience and Ophthalmology Business Development at Roche Basel, she leads deal-making and strategic collaborations to accelerate innovation and diversify the company’s pipeline. Celine has played a pivotal role in advancing transformative partnerships with biotech and academic institutions, from early discovery through late-stage development.

An Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon fellow, she holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Université Pierre et Marie Curie and completed postdoctoral research in ophthalmology at the University of California San Francisco. Over multiple roles in her career, she has developed a strong strategic and operational background in research and development as well as business development.
